Police Constable Arrested in Meerpet for Financial Misconduct

Hyderabad: A police constable attached to Meerpet Police Station was arrested for allegedly misappropriating money linked to a seized mobile phone.
According to reports, the constable, identified as Sravan, allegedly took Rs. 1.70 lakh and transferred the amount to his relatives' bank accounts. He also pledged 12 tulas of gold.
Following the incident, a case was registered against the constable. The police arrested Sravan and sent him to judicial remand.
Further investigation is underway.
