Police Act Implemented In Kamareddy

To maintain peace and public order in Kamareddy district, Sections 30 and 30(A) of the Police Act, 1861, will be enforced across the district for a period of one month, from August 1 to 30.

KAMAREDDY: To maintain peace and public order in Kamareddy district, Sections 30 and 30(A) of the Police Act, 1861, will be enforced across the district for a period of one month, from August 1 to 30. District superintendent of police M. Rajesh Chandra stated that the public is prohibited from organising dharnas (protests), road blockades, demonstrations, rallies, public meetings, or gatherings without prior permission from the police authorities.

The SP further warned that no one should engage in unlawful activities that could damage public property. He appealed to citizens, public representatives, and leaders of various organisations to cooperate with the police department.
Rajesh Chandra also emphasised that strict legal action will be taken against individuals who violate the provisions of Sections 30 and 30(A) of the Police Act, 1861, without proper authorization.
