PCC DAC to Summon Anirudh Reddy Following His Outbursts
The Congress’ disciplinary action committee (DAC) will summon Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy to explain his recent outburst against the delay in sanctioning development funds to his constituency.
Hyderabad: The Congress’ disciplinary action committee (DAC) will summon Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy to explain his recent outburst against the delay in sanctioning development funds to his constituency.
Sources said the leadership would try to pacify the legislator before taking action.
On October 26, Anirudh Reddy threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike along with 30,000 people over the non-release of development funds and pending project bills for Jadcherla.
“Will you give bills only if I die in Jadcherla?
If so, I am ready to die for the development of the constituency,” he said.
Anirudh Reddy has been involved in several public outbursts.
In July 2025, the PCC leadership had directed the DAC to issue a show-cause notice to the legislator over allegations that “covert operatives” were operating in Telangana under the directions of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
