P.C. Ghose’s Report on Kaleshwaram Submitted to Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: In a significant development, the report of the Justice P.C. Ghose Commission of Inquiry tasked with investigating the structural and procedural problems surrounding the Kaleshwaram barrages at Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram was formally handed over to the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Friday.
Principal Secretary (Irrigation and Command Area Development), Rahul Bojja, submitted the report to Chief Minister in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Following this, the State government constituted a three-member committee comprising the secretaries of the Irrigation Department, Law Department, and General Administration Department (GAD). The committee has been directed to thoroughly examine the findings and recommendations of the commission and prepare a detailed summary.
The committee's report is expected to be presented before the Cabinet on August 4.
