Pawan Kalyan to Campaign in Municipal Polls in Telangana

In response to a request made by Ramchander Rao to extend support to the party during the municipal elections, Pawan Kalyan responded positively and agreed to take part in the campaign

Hyderabad: Jana Sena Party Chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will participate in municipal elections campaign in Telangana on February 7 and 8. The elections will be held on February 11.

A decision to this effect was taken during a meeting with the Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy and State BJP president N Ramchander Rao. In response to a request made by Rao to extend support to the party during the municipal elections, Pawan Kalyan responded positively and agreed to take part in the campaign.

Pawan Kalyan is likely to campaign in north Telangana where the BJP is relatively strong. With the last date for withdrawal of nominations concluded on Tuesday, the political parties are gearing up to campaigning from Wednesday.
