Over 1.03 Lakh Ganesh Idols Immersed across Cyberabad So Far

Hyderabad: With more Ganesh immersions expected on Thursday and Friday, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) continued arrangements across all designated immersion points to ensure safe, smooth and peaceful celebrations.
As of September 23, 2026, a total of 1,03,149 Ganesh idols have been immersed across Cyberabad during the ongoing festival period, and the immersion process continues through the final phase.
Arrangements have been in place from day one, covering immersion facilities, cranes, lighting, sanitation, waste management, devotee movement, safety and field-level support.
The CMC is also collecting flower waste separately at the immersion points. The flowers are being segregated, dried and processed into useful products such as incense sticks, dhoops and diyas.
All arrangements and field activities are being continuously monitored through the control room, with real-time coordination between field teams and concerned departments. Devotees are requested to check the nearest immersion point, plan their route in advance and follow the instructions of field staff.
The corporation is working closely with Police, Traffic Police and all concerned departments to ensure safe and peaceful celebrations through the final phase, officials said.
