OTR Update Must Before TGPSC Notifications
The window for updating OTR, originally open from January 19, has now been extended up to February 25. Candidates who fail to complete the process within this period will not be allowed to apply for upcoming recruitment notifications, the Commission warned.
Hyderabad: Latest recruitment notifications from the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) will be issued only after candidates update and validate their One Time Registration (OTR) details, with the Commission making the process mandatory for all future selections.
Through an official note, the TGPSC said it had completed selections for all pending notifications and was preparing to notify new vacancies. With recent changes such as Scheduled Castes categorisation, newly-acquired educational qualifications and repeated requests for corrections, the Commission decided to clean and validate its candidate database to avoid delays later in the process.
At the moment, around 31.56 lakh candidates are registered on the OTR platform. The Commission made it clear that all future applications, results and final selections would be processed strictly based on the information available in OTR. Any mismatch or missing document could affect a candidate’s eligibility.
Candidates have been asked to verify personal, educational and category details, update additional qualifications and upload all required certificates, including a recent colour passport-size photograph. The data submitted in OTR will be treated as final for all upcoming recruitments.
TGPSC also clarified that each candidate must have only one OTR, which remains valid unless cancelled. While most fields cannot be edited, limited changes such as additional qualifications, correspondence address, EWS status, non-creamy layer details, mobile number and email ID are permitted.
The window for updating OTR, originally open from January 19, has now been extended up to February 25. Candidates who fail to complete the process within this period will not be allowed to apply for upcoming recruitment notifications, the Commission warned.
