Special Pujas in Telangana Temples for Indian Soldiers' Safety

Hyderabad: Several temples under the purview of Telangana Endowments department performed special pujas on Friday to ward off all evils for the ongoing Operation Sindoor launched by Indian forces and to ensure safety of the army jawans who are fighting against Pakistan at the borders.

The special pujas were conducted following instructions from the Endowments Minister Konda Surekha. Stating that everyone must extend support to the Indian army and pray for its victory while fighting with enemies, Surekha said the department has decided to perform pujas at the temples for the safety of the Indian army.

The pujas were performed at Sri Ganesh Temple in Rudraram in Sangareddy, Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple at Gudemguda in Mancherial and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Khammam Town, among other temples.

Amid vedic chants, the priests performed pujas in the presence of senior citizens and youths. Holding national flags, they later chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogans, appreciating the measures being taken by the Central government to protect the country from enemies.
