Hyderabad:Train services were disrupted in the Secunderabad division on Sunday night following an overhead equipment (OHE) trip/failure near Moula Ali.
An Intercity Express was reportedly stopped near Moula Ali after the OHE issue occurred while it was approaching Secunderabad station. The incident caused a loud sound, triggering panic among some passengers, who reportedly rushed out of the train.
According to railway officials, several trains were detained for nearly an hour due to the OHE failure, while some others departed from Secunderabad with minimal delay. Railway teams were deployed to attend to the issue and restore normal operations. Further details are awaited from South Central Railway.
