Hyderabad: The State unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) here on Thursday appealed to the youth to observe February 14 as a day to remember the martyrs, who lost their lives in the defense of the country while fighting against terrorists.

In a statement, VHP Prachara Parmukh P Balaswamy stated that everyone should work in the service of Mother India to fulfill the aspirations of the brave soldiers who lost their lives at the hands of foreign militants.

He said that the youth, who were committing reckless acts under the guise of love, should open their eyes and act wisely. “Let us observe February 14 as a day to remember the martyrs by organizing candlelight rallies to bring peace to the souls of the soldiers, who lost their lives in Pulwama in Kashmir, on February 14, 2019. Let us work in the service of Mother India,” he said.
