No Relation With Any Political Party: Devji
Later, it might be converted into a political party based on the response and demand from the public.
Karimanagar:Former Maoist leader Thippiri Tirupathi alias Devji has made it clear that his group has no relation with any political party.
He was referring to the formation of Jana Telangana Party by surrendered Maoist leaders led by Lanka Papi Reddy.
Devji, who visited his native Korutla of Jagtial district on the occasion of Dasara festival on Wednesday, interacted with the media.
Asked about their plans to form a political party, he said, “We would initially form a front to fight on public issues. Later, it might be converted into a political party based on the response and demand from the public.”
On the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), he said that the Union Government was misusing SIR to eliminate anti-BJP votes. Basically, he said, the BJP is an upper caste party. It always worked for the benefit of those communities.
Commenting on the agriculture situation in the state, he said farmers were facing trouble due to lack of water.
