Nizamabad motorist gets 3 days imprisonment in drunken driving case

Hyderabad: A local court in Nizamabad district sentenced a motorist to three days of imprisonment for driving his vehicle in a drunken condition.

The traffic police led by the Sub-Inspector P Prasad conducted a special drive against drunken driving during which over 31 people were caught using a breath analyzer. After counseling them, the police produced them before the court, which imposed a fine on them. However, the court sentenced a motorist K Srinivas, a resident of Armoor, to three days imprisonment, the police said.
