NIT Warangal Hosts International Conference on Sustainable Electronics

 Warangal: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, in collaboration with IIT Guwahati, on Friday inaugurated the first International Conference on Sustainable Electronics and Intelligent Sensing (ICSEIS-2026), a three-day event focusing on sustainable electronics, intelligent sensing, artificial intelligence and advanced communication technologies.

The conference, which will conclude on August 2, is sponsored by DRDO, CSIR and the E-ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati. Around 250 researchers, academicians, scientists and industry experts from India and abroad participated in the inaugural session.

NIT Warangal director Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi chaired the inaugural session virtually. Managing director of Carrier Technologies India Ltd. Nanda K. Lakkaraju attended as the chief guest, while Prof. Kamesh Namuduri of the University of North Texas was the guest of honour.

Prof. Subudhi said the conference aims to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation in sustainable technologies. He said the event would strengthen collaboration among academic institutions, industry and research organisations to address emerging technological challenges through innovative solutions.

The conference will feature keynote lectures, technical paper presentations, panel discussions and specialised workshops.

General Chair Prof. Jatoth Ravi Kumar said the accepted research papers have been proposed for publication in the ‘Springer Conference Proceedings’.

Organisers said the conference is expected to promote global knowledge exchange, strengthen international research collaborations and encourage the development of sustainable technological solutions.
