Floodwater disrupts NH-44; alternative route advised for commuters

Traffic on National Highway No. 44 has been disrupted as floodwater entered the highway at several points following heavy rains since Wednesday evening.
The Nirmal police issued a traffic advisory for commuters travelling towards Hyderabad via Kamareddy. Nirmal SP Janaki Sharmila directed motorists to take a diversion from Kondapur bridge in Nirmal town and proceed towards Hyderabad through Mamada, Khanapur, Metpalli, Jagtial and Karimnagar.
