NIA Raids Suspect’s House in Mahabubabad
The team headed by a deputy superintendent of police (DSP) rank officer, conducted the raid at the suspect’s house regarding the case registered over detonators and gelatin sticks in Delhi.
Hyderabad: Sleuths of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday carried out raids at a hamlet under Maripeda police station limits in Mahabubabad district, in connection with an ongoing probe related to explosive substances case in Delhi. The team headed by a deputy superintendent of police (DSP) rank officer, conducted the raid at the suspect’s house regarding the case registered over detonators and gelatin sticks in Delhi. As part of the probe, the NIA raided the suspect’s house, sources said. The NIA sleuths took the assistance of the Maripeda police to carry out raids. The raids triggered panic among villagers when the sleuths along with the local police swooped down to search the suspect’s house. A few documents and other incriminating material were believed to have been recovered from the house.
