 Nalgonda: The death of a newly-married couple from Andhra Pradesh, who fell off the Machilpatnam Express on Thursday night, is being treated as a case of suicide following the emergence of a video that showed them quarrelling on board the train minutes before the incident.

Railway staff and police had found the bodies of Korada Simhachalam , 25, and Bhavani, 19, on the tracks between Vangapally and Alair in Yadadri-Bhongir district, on Friday morning. They were natives of Ravupalli in Garugubilli mandal of Parvathipuram Manyam district in Andhra Pradesh. The couple boarded the train at Secunderabad to go to their relative’s house at Vijayawada.

It has now emerged that after they quarrelled, Bhavani went to the door of the train and jumped, and her husband followed her. The bodies were been shifted to mortuary of a hospital at Bhongir for post-mortem. Railway police filed a case and took up investigation.

Simhachalam was working in a chemical company and was staying in Gandhinagar of Jagadgirigutta in Hyderabad. They were in love for two years and had got married two months ago.
