Hyderabad:Cyberabad traffic police advised NEET-PG entrance examination candidates to plan their journeys in advance and avoid marathon routes on Sunday to ensure timely arrival at their respective examination centres. Police advised candidates to choose alternative routes and leave well in advance to avoid congestion and reach examination centres on time.

The advisory was issued in view of the 15th Edition of the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2026, scheduled on August 30 from 5 am to 11.30 am. The marathon will pass through several important stretches in the Cyberabad commissionerate limits.

NEET-PG candidates have specifically been advised to avoid the affected stretches, including Cable Bridge-ITC Kohenur-My Home Abhra–IKEA Mindspace Rotary–NCB Junction–Gachibowli Flyover–Indiranagar–IIIT Junction–Gachibowli Stadium-HCU 2nd Gate, and the NAC Main Gate–Metal Charminar–Tech Mahindra–Lemon Tree Hotel–Raidurg Metro Station–IKEA Underpass.

The main marathon route will cover Cable Bridge, ITC Kohenur, Knowledge City Gate No. 8, My Home Abhra, C Gate Junction, IKEA, Mindspace Rotary, Transco, NCB/Biodiversity Junction, Pista House, South India Shopping Mall, Gachibowli flyover, Indiranagar and IIIT Junction. It will then proceed towards Gachibowli Stadium, enter the University of Hyderabad campus through Gate No. 2, exit through the same gate and return towards Gachibowli stadium through Gate No. 2.

The 10K run will start from Gitex in Madhapur and pass through NAC Main Gate, Khanamet Junction, Metal Charminar Junction, Tech Mahindra, Leamon Tree Hotel, Raidurg Metro Station and IKEA Underpass before merging with the main marathon route.
