Hyderabad: Christmas celebrations at Nasr Boys School, Gachibowli, featured a 50-foot-tall Christmas tree that the management said is likely the tallest in the city.
Sonia John, a teacher at the school, said the institution is known for promoting a spirit of secularism among students, with all festivals celebrated in a grand manner.
“The Christmas tree was installed with the help of a crane, and a star was placed at the top,” she said. She added that as part of a charity drive, students donate blankets to the needy and later sing Christmas carols in front of the tree. “This is a tradition Nasr Boys School has been following for many years,” she said.
