Nalgonda: The Nalgonda CCS police arrested one suspect belonging to a four-member gang that stole valuables from bus passengers, and seized 600 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 85 lakh. The arrested accused was identified as Shah Alla Rakha, 30, a native of Maharashtra while Ashraf Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Omar Khan are absconding.
Superintendent of police Sharat Chandra Pawar said the gang used to target buses that halt at hotels along National Highway 65. Acting on a complaint lodged by a victim at Chityal on December 5, 2025, the police formed two teams who tracked down the gang after a fortnight of effort and arrested Alla Rakha in the Manaver police limits of Maharashtra.
