Nakrekal Police Arrests Seven Women Including Two Minors in a Theft Case
After stealing the money, the gang members went to Vijayawada in a car and spent a day there. They also planned to commit similar thefts in a bank at Chityal and wer going to the town in a car.
Nalgonda: Nakrekal police on Friday arrested seven women including two minors for allegedly stealing Rs 2.5 lakh from the bag of a customer at the District Cooperative Central Bank at Nakrekal in Nalgonda. Police recovered Rs 2,32,000 from their possession.
The arrested were identified as Parupureddy Naga, Patnala Polamma, Poripireddy Chandini, Yerasani Sandhya, Parupu Reddy Mosha and two minors, all from East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh.
Nalgonda deputy superintendent of police Shivaram Reddy said that the gang members stolen the money from Mada Nagaraju on August 25 by cutting open his cash bag. He had come to the bank with the cash to clear a loan.

On the suspicion, Nakrekal police stopped their car near a hotel on the outskirts of Nakrekal, questioned them and took them into custody. On inquiry, they confessed to the theft at the bank.
