Rao highlighted the BJP’s strong showing in recent local body polls, where the party secured a sizeable number of sarpanch and ward member posts. Nadda congratulated the state unit on the victories, lauding grassroots workers and leaders for their efforts.

He stressed that the BJP is emerging as the principal alternative to the ruling Congress, urging cadres to close ranks and intensify outreach ahead of greater responsibilities.

Rao told Nadda that public sentiment has turned against the Congress government over its failures. Nadda advised state leaders to engage directly with people, identify issues, and mount pressure on the government.

Rao also pointed to the erosion of trust in the BRS amid internal family disputes, noting that voters are increasingly looking to the BJP as both rivals falter.
