NIZAMABAD: In a significant move, the Telangana state government has appointed Mohammad Ghazi, a resident of Kamareddy district, as a member of the Executive Council (EC) of Telangana University. This appointment comes as part of a broader decision by the state government to appoint governing body members to all universities in the state. The official order was issued by Dr. Yogita Rana, the state government secretary, on behalf of the Governor of Telangana.
Expressing his gratitude upon his appointment, Mohammad Ghazi thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir for their support. He described his appointment as a matter of pride, particularly because Telangana University, named after the state, is located in the erstwhile Nizamabad district, a region significant to the formation of Telangana.
Ghazi assured that he would work closely with university officials to ensure its development, aiming to enhance its standing and contribute to its progress across various sectors. He also expressed his commitment to bringing distinction to both Telangana University and the state government through his work.
