KARIMNAGAR: The government will soon construct a state-of-the-art ‘Nitya Annadanam Satram’ (daily meal donation centre) at the historic Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada, Rajanna Sircilla district, said Government Chief Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas.

He said the initiative is part of efforts to develop and expand the temple premises to better accommodate large number of devotees. The new Annaprasadam centre will offer free, hygienic, and nutritious meals to pilgrims every day, he added.

As part of a tour to Sringeri on Monday, Srinivas also visited the Kollur Mukambika Ammavari Temple, where he performed special pujas and inspected existing facilities. He reviewed plans for the proposed Annaprasadam complex, including the kitchen, dining hall, and queue lines, modeled after the Sri Vengamamba Annaprasadam Trust in Tirumala.
