Influenza A (H1N1) can affect people of all ages. Stay alert to common symptoms such as fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, headache, body aches and fatigue: Officials
Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) has cautioned the people about seasonal flu, which can spread quickly and asked them to take preventive steps.
Officials said prevention starts with simple habits. Influenza A (H1N1) can affect people of all ages. Stay alert to common symptoms such as fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, headache, body aches and fatigue.
Listing out various preventive measures, officials asked the people to protect themselves and those around them. “Wash your hands frequently and cover your mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing. Stay well hydrated and get adequate rest,” officials said.
“Keep indoor spaces clean and well-ventilated and stay home when unwell and avoid spreading infection. If symptoms persist or become concerning, seek medical advice promptly,” officials said, stating that a little care today can prevent a bigger spread tomorrow.
“Stay informed. Take care. Protect others,” officials added.
