Hyderabad: Traffic enforcement records show that a vehicle reportedly belonging to Nizamabad MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has racked up 16 pending traffic challans across multiple districts in Telangana over the past year.

According to challan data available on the traffic police portal, each violation carried a fine of ₹1,000, taking the total penalty to ₹15,760, including user charges of ₹560. All the challans remain unpaid.

The violations were booked under Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act, which deals with overspeeding and dangerous driving. The challans were issued between December 29, 2024, and October 31, 2025.

District-wise records show three challans each in Nizamabad and Cyberabad, two each in Siddipet, Hyderabad and Kamareddy, and one each in Medak, Karimnagar and Ramagundam. In several instances, the vehicle was booked more than once on the same day at different locations, the data indicates.

Under the Motor Vehicles Act, unpaid challans can attract further action, including higher penalties, depending on the nature and frequency of violations.
