MLA Secures Rs 10 Cr for Girls’ Hostel at Agraharam College

 Karimnagar: The state government has sanctioned Rs 10 crore for the construction of a girls' hostel at Agraharam Degree College, located in the Vemulawada constituency here in Rajanna Sircilla district. The official order was issued by the commissioner of education based on the directive of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The decision comes after an appeal made by the college management and students during a recent event attended the government chief whip and MLA Aadi Srinivas. They had drawn attention to the absence of hostel facilities and the hardships faced by girl students as a result. Moved by their troubles, the MLA immediately brought the issue to the Chief Minister’s notice, leading to swift approval of the proposal. The sanctioned funds are expected to significantly improve the quality of life and education for girl students in the region. The student community has thanked the MLA and and the government for the swift and positive response.
