Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, DCP (Secunderabad) Rakshitha Krishna Murthy said a case was registered regarding the missing of three minor girls from Domalguda on July 19 at around 1.45 am.
Acting upon the technical evidence and the information gathered during the investigation, the team of Domalguda police, Task Force Secunderabad with the help of Kanker Police in Chhattisgarh, successfully traced the three missing minor girls. During inquiry, it was revealed that the girls had left their home voluntarily after being scolded by their parents.
A missing case was registered based on a complaint lodged by the mother. The family had migrated from Chhattisgarh to Hyderabad in May in search of livelihood and was residing in Fareed Basthi along with their children, the police said.

Police formed special teams from Domalguda and Task Force Secunderabad and examined CCTV cameras. The footage revealed that the girls had left their residence at around 1.47 am. They boarded an auto-rickshaw and reached Kachiguda Railway Station. Later, they travelled to Secunderabad Railway Station and boarded the Danapur Express at around 9 am. The girls reached Nagpur on July 20 and later travelled by bus to Gadchiroli and Palanjur village, where they stayed for two days.
