Miss World 2025: 3 More Contestants To Land In Hyderabad Today
The Tourism department has made arrangements to welcome contestants of Miss World 2025 with full traditional honors.
Hyderabad: Contestants for the Miss World pageant are arriving in Hyderabad from various countries. Today, representatives from Portugal, Ghana, and Ireland will arrive at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad here.
A contestant, Maria Amelia Antonio from Portugal landed at RGIA in the morning, while Jutta Ama Pokuhaa Addo from Ghana and Jasmine Gerhard from Ireland will reach later in the day.
The Tourism department has made arrangements to welcome them with full traditional honors. Comprehensive measures for security and accommodation are also in place.
Already, Zoyalize Jansen van Rensburg (Miss South Africa), Jessica Scandiuzzi Pedroso (Miss Brazil), Julia Evelyn Morley (Miss World CEO and Chairperson), and Emma Deanna Cathryn Morrison (Miss Canada) arrived in Hyderabad.
Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley will review preparations and coordinate with government officials for the opening ceremony at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
Hyderabad is gearing up to host the Miss World pageant with splendor. Special arrangements have been made at RGIA to welcome beauty queens arriving from over 120 countries. Authorities have planned a traditional Telangana-style welcome for the international delegates.
Starting today, the influx of foreign representatives is expected to rise. To accommodate this, special lounges and help desks have been set up at the airport.
Additionally, welcome arches featuring Telangana’s tourist attractions and unique symbols have been installed. The Tourism department has ensured that the slogan Telangana Jaroor Aana (Must Visit Telangana) is prominently displayed and echoed everywhere, creating an inviting atmosphere for all.
