MIM Legislators Review Macca Masjid Arrangements for Upcoming Ramzan

Hyderabad: Charminar MLA Mir Zulfiqar Ali and MLC Mirza Rehmat Baig on Tuesday reviewed arrangements for the upcoming holy month of Ramzan at Mecca Masjid.
They reviewed public facilities and general upkeep to accommodate the heavy influx of worshippers expected during the month. They also checked the functionality of CCTV cameras for heightened security.
Following the review, the legislators highlighted the need to procure new carpets at the mosque.
Earlier this year, the public representatives urged the government to release sanctioned grants (estimated at approximately `105 crore for various Waqf institutions) to complete essential renovation and repair works before the festival season.The reviews involved coordination with the electricity department, municipal administration (GHMC), and police to ensure seamless services.
