MHSRB Finalises 433 Assistant Professor Posts

Hyderabad: The Telangana health department has completed recruitment for 433 assistant professor posts across 30 medical specialty departments in government medical colleges, with the selection list to be released shortly.
The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) finalised the process as part of an ongoing recruitment drive initiated last year to fill 607 assistant professor posts in 34 departments.
Earlier, health minister Damodar Rajanarasimha had handed over appointment letters to 174 assistant professors and 692 civil assistant surgeon specialist doctors after completion of recruitment in departments including paediatrics, orthopaedics, gynaecology and anaesthesia.
With the latest phase, the board has completed recruitment for the remaining 433 posts in 30 departments and is set to announce the results.
