Meter Reader Electrocuted While Restoring Power Supply
On receiving information, Kodad Rural police rushed to the village and shifted the body to a government hospital for post-mortem examination.

Nalgonda: A 30-year-old electricity meter reader allegedly died of electrocution while restoring power supply at Nemalipuram village in Kodad mandal of Suryapet district after electricity was disrupted by heavy wind and rain, police said on Friday.
The victim was identified as Reddipoina Gopi, who worked as a meter reader and assistant to a lineman in Nemalipuram. He reportedly came into contact with a live electric wire while working at a transformer to restore electricity supply and died on the spot, police said.
