The deceased was identified as Venkagouni Narasimhulu Goud, who worked for a private company in Hyderabad. According to reports, he informed his family members on Saturday that he was going to his native village of Timmapur in Medak district.
He shared his location with his daughter and sent her a message saying, “Bye, Ammulu.” Worried by the message, his daughter alerted other family members, who tried to contact him but received no response.
The family members searched for him and later found him hanging from a tree in the forest area.
Police registered a case based on a complaint filed by his wife and began an investigation. Preliminary reports suggest that financial distress, linked to debts incurred for his two sisters’ weddings and the recent construction of a house, may have contributed to the incident. The exact circumstances are being investigated.
