Man Held for Matrimonial Fraud, Assault

Hyderabad: A special team of Chilkalguda police on Sunday arrested K. Raja of Rajasthan for sexually assaulting a victim after luring her via a matrimonial portal. During interrogation Raja revealed that four months ago he created a fake profile on a matrimonial website and came in contact with a city-based victim. He developed physical relations and cheated her, sources disclosed.

Chilkalguda SHO B. Anudeep said that Raja claimed that he was a bachelor and sexually assaulted the woman on pretext of marriage and collected over `1.4 lakh from her. After the victim learnt that he was already married she lodged a complaint against the accused
