Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is continuing its investigation into the disproportionate assets case against Mahbubnagar Deputy Transport Commissioner (DTC) Kishan Naik.

A key focus of the probe is Kishan’s private driver, Enugu Sivashankar, who investigators suspect acted as a 'benami' to conceal a substantial portion of Kishan's assets. Several luxury vehicles, including three cars registered in Sivashankar’s name, are currently under scrutiny. The ACB believes that the cash and valuables seized during the raids, though found in Sivashankar's name, actually belong to Kishan.

Kishan's lifestyle, including a state-of-the-art house in Alwal, is reportedly inconsistent with his known income. Interestingly, he is said to have misrepresented his profession to ground-floor tenants, telling them he was a software engineer.

Sivashankar, the driver, has gone missing since the ACB raids. Officials believe his arrest is crucial, as it is expected to uncover significant details about the financial network and the full extent of the benami holdings associated with the DTC.
