BJP Picks Deepak Reddy For Fighting Jubilee Hills Polls
Deepak Reddy had earlier contested in the 2023 Legislative Assembly elections, securing 25,866 votes with 14.11 per cent of the total votes polled.
Deepak Reddy had earlier contested from Jubilee Hills in the 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly elections from the BJP, securing 25,866 votes. He came third pushing the AIMIM’s Mohammed Rashed Farazuddin to fourth place. BRS’s late Maganti Gopinath was the winner and Mohammad Azharuddin of the Congress came second.
Deepak Reddy is also the BJP’s Hyderabad Central District President. The 51-year-old leader served as TD’s Telugu Yuvatha city president, state General Secretary, and BJP state executive member and also runs a NGO — People For Better Hyderabad President.
For the Jubilee Hills byelection, the Congress has fielded Naveen Yadav, while the BRS has nominated Maganti Sunitha as its candidate. The polling will be held on November 11, with counting and the declaration of results scheduled for November 14. All major parties have already launched their campaign in the constituency.
