According to RC Puram police, the deceased, identified as Nikita, was riding her two-wheeler to her workplace at a laboratory when the accident occurred around 8.20 am. She sustained severe head and facial injuries and died on the spot, police said.

A complaint was lodged by her brother, V. Vahileshwara (36), a resident of Nandigama village in Patancheru, Sangareddy district. Based on the complaint, the Ramachandrapuram police registered a case and took up an investigation.
