Hyderabad: Man Dies After Assault Over Alleged Misconduct with Minor

Hyderabad: A man died after he was allegedly assaulted by local residents and the family members of a nine-year-old girl for allegedly misbehaving with the minor in the Kulsumpura police station limits on Thursday evening.
According to the police, the deceased, identified as Aziz Ahmed, was reportedly working as a tea vendor at Nilofer Hospital and was residing in a double-bedroom housing unit in Kulsumpura. He allegedly behaved inappropriately with a nine-year-old Class 4 student who lived in the same building.
Some local residents who witnessed the incident allegedly assaulted him. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras. After watching the footage, the girl's family members also allegedly attacked Aziz at around 7.30 pm on Thursday
On receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and shifted Aziz to Osmania General Hospital along with his mother under the escort of a head constable. However, he later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
