 HANAMKONDA: Representatives of the market committee met Union coal and mines minister G. Kishan Reddy at his residence on Tuesday and urged him to address the problems faced by the Sri Venkatalakshmi Vegetable Market in Kazipet.

The representatives explained the difficulties faced by traders, farmers and consumers and highlighted issues concerning market development, infrastructure and business operations.

Kishan Reddy assured them that he would speak to the district collector and municipal commissioner and discuss the issues with the officials concerned. He said efforts would be made to resolve the problems at the earliest.

The market committee representatives expressed satisfaction over the minister’s assurance.

Market committee honorary president N. Ramalingam, Gadda Narahari, former president Gadda Ramaiah, Mekala Lallu, Narender, Swamy and others were present.
