Hyderabad: The sleuths of Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday caught Thammisetty Suresh, who is a Panchayat Secretary of Bhanapuram Gram Panchayat in Khammam red-handed, when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 25,000.

The bribe was accepted from the complainant near Rithu Vedika of Mudigonda Mandal for doing an official favor for processing and granting building permission and allotment of house bumber to the one room sheet roofed house being constructed by the complainant in his house site admeasuring five kuntas at Bhanapuram village.

The tainted bribe amount of Rs. 25,000 was recovered from the possession of Suresh. The case is under investigation and the details of complainant are withheld for security reasons.
