KCR Must Attend Assembly; If Not, Even God Can’t Save BRS: Kavitha
Kavitha said “if the ‘bubble shooter’ was asked to explain, the people will not understand anything. Then even God cannot save the BRS.”
HYDERABAD: Telangana Jagruthi leader K. Kavitha on Friday said BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao must attend the Assembly Winter Session and explain the irrigation related decisions taken when he was Chief Minister. “If KCR does not go to the Assembly, even God cannot save the BRS,” she said.
Kavitha, who spoke with reporters at the Assembly media point, once again targeted T. Harish Rao questioning Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to appoint him as the BRS Legislature Party’s deputy floor leader.
Claiming that all the problems being faced by Chandrashekar Rao on irrigation issues were because of Harish Rao, the “so called-trouble shooter,” Kavitha said: “KCR should explain why the intake point of the Palamuru project was changed from Jurala to Srisailam. He will know why this decision was taken. They are suspecting KCR’s sincerity and that is why I am requesting him to attend the session, and clear the air.”
Kavitha said “if the ‘bubble shooter’ was asked to explain, the people will not understand anything. Then even God cannot save the BRS.”
She also attacked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for talking about hanging Chandrashekar Rao or stoning him to death. “It is certainly not proper to compare him to a terrorist like Kasab. These are not comments a CM should make,” Kavitha said. “As KCR’s daughter, my blood boils when I hear such things said about him. I am warning Revanth Reddy to mind, and change his language,” she said.
She said she met Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy and requested him to approve her resignation as MLC. “Since it is pending, I asked him if I could attend the Council one day and explain to the people the reasons for my resignation. He said he will consider my request,” she said.
