KBR Park One-Way Traffic Trial Today From 10 AM to 8 PM
The one-way will be enforced in the limits of Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills traffic police stations.
Hyderabad:The city traffic police will implement a one-way trial run on roads surrounding KBR Park on Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm — the second in the series — to facilitate the ongoing steel flyover and underpass construction works under the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) project.
The one-way will be enforced in the limits of Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills traffic police stations. Commuters have been advised to use designated lane changers and follow signage that the traffic police have installed.
Police said there will be no U-turns on these designted routes and motorists must keep to the left lane to access the exits. Heavy vehicles have been advised to avoid the stretch during peak hours. Commuters are urged to follow traffic personnel, use navigation apps, prefer public transport or carpooling, and plan journeys in advance. Traffic from NFCL towards SNT, Sagar Society (Mugdha), KBR Park entrance, Jubilee Hills checkpost, Road No.s 36 and 45, and the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge will be diverted via NTR Bhavan towards Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Island, Omega Hospital and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan before reaching their destinations.
Motorists from Yousufguda and Srinagar Colony towards Road No.s 36 and 45, Jubilee Hills and Madhapur can use two alternative routes. One route passes through Indiranagar Gadda Road, Venkatagiri Junction, Diamond House and Al-Cazar before reaching Road No.s 36 and 45. The second route runs via Annapurna Studios bylane, NTR Bhavan, Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Island, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Filmnagar, Senor Valley and Shaikpet.
Traffic travelling from ITC Kohenur and the Cable Bridge towards Jubilee Hills checkpost, Venkatagiri, NTR Bhavan and Panjagutta will be routed through Road No.s 60 and 67 and then via Road No. 1.
