Hyderabad: Kachiguda Railway Station, a historic heritage building with a rich history spanning over a century, stands as a crown jewel of Hyderabad city.

Constructed in 1916 in a stunning Gothic architectural style, this station has successfully completed a year of its advanced electrical illumination system, funded by the central government, which adds even greater allure to its façade, said Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy on Friday.

With a special theme reflecting national pride, this digital lighting system—crafted with approximately 785 state-of-the-art lighting fixtures—has doubled the station's visual appeal during nighttime hours, transforming it into a resplendent spectacle.

Over the past year, the lighting system has not only specially attracted tourists and passengers but has also stood as a symbol of urban heritage preservation and the fusion with modern technology.
