Jurala Project in Mahbubnagar Getting Heavy Inflows from Upstream Areas
The Jurala project is getting 1.50 lakh inflows from upstream areas and catchment areas.

Hyderabad: The Priyadharshini Jurala Project (PJP) in Mahbubnagar district is releasing 1.69 lakh inflows of water downstream from spillway gates. The project is getting 1.50 lakh inflows from upstream areas and catchment areas.
The present storage of the PJP is 9.05 of TMC, which is 93.71 per cent of the total 9.657 of TMC, according to a bulletin released by Telangana Irrigation department at 6 am on Sunday. The catchment areas of PJP and its upstream areas were witnessing heavy rainfall as a resulting it is getting heavy inflows.
