Junior Assistant Held in Bribe Case in Vikarabad

The bribe was demanded for processing the documents of the complainant at the Collector's office and to dispatch the copy of Collector's order to Nawabpet Tahsildar's office

Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday nabbed K Sujatha, a junior assistant working at the Vikarabad district Collector’s office for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.15,000 from a complainant for showing official favour.

The bribe was demanded for processing the documents of the complainant at the Collector's office and to dispatch the copy of Collector's order to Nawabpet Tahsildar's office. The order copy is related to inclusion of the name of the complainant's mother in respect of the two acres of land issued to her by the government.
