Jukkal Sets Record with 25 Unanimous Sarpanch Elections

SC candidate elected unopposed in a General category seat; MLA credits development programmes and public support

Kamareddy: Twenty five candidates supported by the ruling Congress Party have been elected unopposed as Sarpanches in the Jukkal Assembly Constituency of Kamareddy district. According to the partymembers, Jukkal MLA Thota Lakshmikanta Rao played a key role in achieving this.
MLA Lakshmikanta Rao stated that the large number of unanimous elections reflects the impact of the development and welfare initiatives introduced by the Congress government, alongside the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Jukkal for their cooperation and assured that the same collective spirit would continue to guide the villages towards progress.
The MLA further announced that the gram panchayats elected unanimously would receive the government-sanctioned ₹10 lakh grant, in addition to funds from his MLA development budget, to ensure all-round village development. He also appealed to voters to elect Congress-supported candidates contesting in the remaining seats with a strong mandate.
In a notable development, the villagers of Bizzalwadi in Jukkal Mandal unanimously elected an SC candidate as Sarpanch in a General category village.
