Joyride Turns Into a Terrifying Experience at Numaish

Hyderabad: Joyriders, who were enjoying a ride at the Numaish on Thursday, faced a terrifying situation as it stopped midway, leaving riders hanging upside down.

The problem cropped up due to battery charging issues, following which the ride was halted midway leaving the 32 riders hanging upside down.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, secretary of the Exhibition Society Surender Reddy said, “The amusement ride got stuck upside down during a run due to battery issues. Technicians immediately replaced the battery and got the people out of the ride.”

While it was reported that the ride was stuck midway for more than 25 minutes, Reddy said it was resolved in less than five minutes. After repairs, the amusement ride was resumed.
