Adilabad:Adilabad police on Wednesday arrested 38-year-old Jawade Krishna, the main accused in a job fraud case, for allegedly duping unemployed youth by collecting ₹20,000 from each person over the past five months in Adilabad district. Krishna has been remanded to judicial custody.

Police also arrested several of his associates, including his brother Jawade Gopal, and agents Atram Narayana, Dakure Shathrughan, and Madhyawar Adhinath. However, two other accused, Atram Rahul and Mishrama Prahlad, are absconding.

Sharing details with the media, SP Akhil Mahajan said Krishna collected nearly ₹69 lakh from 300 unemployed youth by promising them jobs. Sixteen cases have been filed against him in connection with the fraud. Police recovered ₹9 lakh in cash and 10.7 tolas of gold ornaments from his possession. Krishna, a native of Shankarguda in Indravelli mandal, had been residing in Pune, Maharashtra.

SP Mahajan added that Krishna posed as an NRI and lured victims by offering employment in his company, S.K. Micro Finance. Utnoor ASP Kajal Singh, Utnoor CI M. Prasad, and IT Core SI Gopikrishna were also present at the press conference.
