IMD Issues Yellow Alert for Moderate to Heavy Rain in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning saying moderate to heavy rain is likely to occur in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
As the southwest monsoon is moving actively, the city is expected to get heavy rainfall due to its impact. According to IMD, there will be cloudy sky across Telangana with light rains.
Due to the influence of cumulonimbus clouds, heavy rains fell in Hyderabad along with North Telangana yesterday. Kamareddy recorded the highest rainfall of 18.2 cm, while Vikarabad and Sangareddy received heavy rainfall, officials said.
