Hyderabad: Woman Loses Gold Chain During Health Check-Up
A 44-year-old private employee lost a gold chain weighing around 35 grams while undergoing a full-body health check-up at a diagnostic centre in AS Rao Nagar.
Hyderabad: A 44-year-old private employee lost a gold chain weighing around 35 grams while undergoing a full-body health check-up at a diagnostic centre in AS Rao Nagar.
According to police, the woman Naga Venkata Pavani Tayaru Yarla, a resident of Dammaiguda, visited MedPlus Diagnostics, AS Rao Nagar branch, at around 9 am for the health check-up.
According to her complaint to Kushaiguda police, during a chest examination at around 9.40 am, she removed her gold chain and kept it beside the pillow in the examination room.
She subsequently underwent a bladder examination and left the diagnostic centre.
After reaching home, the woman noticed that the chain was missing.
She then contacted the diagnostic centre and informed the staff about the missing jewellery.
The centre reportedly checked the CCTV footage, following which the woman approached Kushaiguda police and lodged a complaint.
Police registered a theft case and launched an investigation.
Investigators are examining the CCTV footage and other details to identify the person who allegedly took the chain and recover the missing jewellery.
