Hyderabad to Host Indie Dog Puppy Adoption Drive on Aug 17
GHMC invites citizens to adopt healthy, vaccinated street puppies at Banjara Hills’ JVR Park
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will organise an Indie Dog Puppy Adoption Drive at Jalagam Vengal Rao Park, Banjara Hills, on August 17 from 6 am to 10 am to encourage citizens to adopt street puppies and give them a loving home.
As part of the initiative, healthy, vaccinated, and dewormed Indie puppies will be available for adoption free of cost. The only requirement is that prospective pet parents offer love and care. Indie dogs, known for being playful, loyal, and low-maintenance, are considered ideal companions for both families and individuals.
The GHMC has invited citizens to attend the event, meet the puppies, and take home a “new best friend.” Officials said that adopting these puppies will help reduce the street dog population while providing a safe and loving environment for the animals.
